You and each of you are hereby notified that Catheryn Lynn Reardon, Individually, as Special Administrator of the Estate of Dennis Scott McClellan, aka Denis Franklin McClellan, aka Dennis McClellan; Catheryn Lynn Reardon, Teri Susanne Hall and John Scott McClellan, each individually and collectively as Trustees of the Denis Franklin McClellan Revocable Trust Dated June 2, 2000, as restated May 22, 2023; and Sophia E. Reardon, as Plaintiffs, have filed in the District Court of Ellis County, State of Oklahoma, Case No. CV-2026-1 their Petition against the above named Defendants, alleging that the Plaintiffs, are seized and possessed of an undivided mineral interest in real property located in Ellis County, Oklahoma, to-wit: E/2 NE/4 and SW/4 NE/4, Section 13-19N-21W; that the Plaintiffs, are the legal and/or beneficial owners of the said fractional mineral interest in the said real property and in the actual and peaceable possession thereof; that Defendants, and each of them, may claim some interest in and to said real property adverse to the Plaintiffs, which constitutes a cloud on the title of said Plaintiffs; that said Defendants are hereby notified that you must answer to the Petition herein filed on or before the 13th day of March, 2026, or the allegations of said petition will be taken as true and judgment will be rendered in favor of the Plaintiffs against said Defendants, determining the heirs and devisees of the above named Defendants and quieting title in Plaintiffs, and confirming said Plaintiffs= possession of the above-described undivided mineral interest, barring and enjoining Defendants from asserting any right, title, or interest in or to the interests of the Plaintiffs, in the said real property.

The board of Ellis County Commissioners met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 a.m. at the Ellis County Courthouse in Arnett, Oklahoma. Agenda posted at 9:00 a.m. on January 9, 2026. Chairman, Blake Suthers, called meeting to order. Roll Call: Blake Suthers, Chad Petree, Cole File, and County Clerk Lynn Smith, were all in attendance. Absent: None. Public: Ashley Sellers, and Rebecca Shuyler with the Oklahoma Workforce Board, Shane Booth, T.J. Tyler, and Jenny Vincent. Flag Salute. Petree moved to approve and sign minutes from the January 5, 2026 regular meeting, seconded by File, voting aye, Suthers, Petree, and File. Comments and Concerns from the Public: None. Unfinished Business: None. Petree moved to audit Purchase Order and Blanket Purchase Order Claims, seconded by File, voting aye, Suthers, Petree, and File. Petree moved to approve and sign purchase order and blanket purchase order claims for payment, seconded by File, voting aye, Suthers, Petree, and File. Suthers moved to approve and sign District 1, 2, & 3 employee time sheets, seconded by Petree, voting aye, Suthers, Petree, and File. The Board met with Ashley Sellers and Rebecca Shuyler with the Oklahoma Central Workforce Development to explain how the Workforce works and how it would benefit Ellis County. After discussion on the Oklahoma Workforce Development Consortium Agreement with Ashley Sellers and Rebecca Shuyler, Suthers moved to take no action on the Agreement until our District Attorney’s Office has time to review the Agreement, seconded by Petree, voting aye, Suthers, Petree, and File. The Board reviewed and discussed a quote received to possibly change our Mass Communications from IRIS to WEN. After review, Petree moved to change our Mass Communications from IRIS to WEN and accept the quote from WEN, seconded by File, voting aye, Suthers, Petree, and File. The Board reviewed information the Clerk’s Office received on Thursday, January 8, 2026 about a possible special Assessment from OPEH&W on our Health Insurance Plan. No Action Taken. New Business: None. There being no further business to come before the board, Suthers moved to adjourn, seconded by File, voting aye, Suthers, Petree, and File.

You are hereby notified that on the 14th day of January, 2026, the Petitioner, Catheryn Lynn Reardon, filed in the District Court Ellis County, State of Oklahoma, a Petition for Summary Administration, Appointment of Special Administrator, Determination of Heirs, Devisees and Legatees, Waiver of Final Account and Distribution of Estate. The Petitioner has alleged that Dennis Scott McClellan, age 92, died testate on August 4, 2025, domiciled in and residing in Mission Viejo, California leaving an estate consisting of real property in the State of Oklahoma. The Petitioner has asked that this Court to determine the heirs of the decedent and order summary proceedings pursuant to 58 O.S. § 245, et seq.
