YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED pursuant to OKLA. STAT. Title 69 § 69-646 (2014) that the Board of Ellis County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on a Resolution by the Board regarding the “opening of a roadway” designated, as a “track of land” located in Section 8 T19N R24W, for approximately one half (.5) mile running north and south, further described as follows: beginning at the Southwest corner of said SE/4, thence North (N0°07’30”W), along the West boundary of said SE/4, a distance of 2130.60 feet to a point on the south boundary of highway 60; thence Southeasterly (s67°44’34”e), along said highway, a distance of 64.89 feet; thence south (s00°07’30”E), parallel with West boundary of said SE/4, a distance of 2060.29 feet; thence East (N89°59’17”E) a distance of 491.54 feet to a point of the West boundary of Eisenhower Street; thence South (S00°00’43”E), along said West boundary, a distance of 58.44 feet to a point on the South boundary of said SE/4; thence West (N88°41’27”W), along said South boundary, a distance of 551.60 feet to point of beginning, said tract containing 3.51 acres, the County will maintain said roadway.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that said matter is set for hearing before the Board of Ellis County Commissioners in and for Ellis County, Oklahoma on March 9th, 2026 at the hour of 9:30 a.m., on the first floor, Ellis County Court House, Arnett, Oklahoma, at which time the Board will hear evidence in support of and in opposition of the Resolution; and if you have any cause to show why said Resolution should not be granted, you should appear at said time and place.

THE COMMISSIONERS OF THE LAND OFFICE (“CLO”) invites bids for Oil and Gas Leases upon the following terms covering the tracts of land described in this Notice.

Written sealed bids for this sale will not be considered.
Pursuant to changes in our rules and regulations, OAC 385:15-1-9 ‘Successful bidders awarded oil and gas leases by the Land Office shall pay a performance fee of $1.00 per net mineral acre leased.’
All online bids must be placed on or before 10:30 A.M. on the date of the sale. Any online bid received after 10:30 A.M. will be rejected and not considered.
ALL BIDS WILL BE OPENED AT 11:00 A.M. ON THE DATE OF THE SALE.
Leases will be awarded to the bidder of the highest cash bonus, if accepted.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE: The Lease will be on a form prescribed by the CLO for a term of three years, and as may be extended, and will provide for 3/16ths royalty, and an annual delay rental of $1.00 per net acre to be paid in full before lease is issued, in addition to lease bonus. Bids shall be for a cash bonus for each tract, but no bid of less than $5.00 per acre will be considered. Each bid must be accompanied by a remittance in the amount of 25% of bid as earnest money. Earnest money remittances made by unsuccessful bidders will be returned to them. The successful bidder shall be liable for the full amount of the bid, all delay rentals and cost of advertising. Full payment is due 30 days from the date of acceptance of the bid.
Failure to comply with any of the terms and conditions of sale will be grounds for the cancellation of the award and the retention of the deposit of earnest money as liquidated damages at the election of the Secretary.
The Commissioners of the Land Office and the State of Oklahoma make no warranty of title and reserve the right to reject any and all bids.
Please note that you must bid in the name you want on your lease. Once the auction is closed, an assignment must be submitted for any name changes. Please contact our office or view our website for consent to assignment procedures

Notice is hereby given that the Arnett Board of Trustees is accepting sealed bids for a one year lease of a 3.5 acre tract of land in the Northeast corner of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 9, Township 19N, Range 24 W.I.M., Ellis County, Oklahoma,
for the purpose of grazing only.

The minimum bid that will be accepted is $400.00.

Sealed bids will be accepted up to 7:00 pm, Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at the Town of Arnett Municipal Office, 219 E Renfrow Ave, Arnett, Oklahoma, 73832. The bids must be in a sealed envelope marked “Grazing Lease”. Sealed bids will be opened at the regular board meeting, February 25, 2026 at 7:00 pm or shortly after as the agenda allows.

The Arnett Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids as well as to re-offer said real estate for lease.

In the event a bid is accepted, the winning bidder must agree to:
1. Maintain all fences and gates.
2. Ensure all grass and weeds are grazed, mowed, or cut to a height of 24” or less at all times.
3. Abide by the Town Code of the Town of Arnett.
