Vonnie Lynne (Lalicker) Kelln
Vonnie Lynne (Lalicker) Kelln was born to Larry and Judith Ann (Dale) Lalicker on October 5, 1961 and passed away on March 4, 2022 at the age of 60 years, 4 months and 27 days. Vonnie grew up in Gage, attended all 12 years, graduating with the class of 1979. She married her soulmate, Thomas Glenn Kelln, on January 3, 1981 at the Shattuck United Methodist Church. Together they welcomed two daughters: Ashley Dawn, born in 1982 and Amy Danielle, born in 1988. Tom, Vonnie, and the girls moved to Canute in 1995 and she was baptized in 2000 at the Elk City UMC. Throughout Vonnie’s life she was employed for her dad and grandpa for Lalicker & Son, classifieds manager for a newspaper, Pre-K assistant and also worked for an oil and gas company, always with integrity. Vonnie was taught how to make the Kelln Family Bierox at age 19, and after she was given a sweet bread dough recipe to make the homemade bread dough, family and friends enjoyed them immensely. She even donated Bierox to the class concession stand when Ashley was a HS Junior. When Canute hosted the area finals, basketball fans from all over the area raved over the mouth-watering German dish. Known as Nonie to her five grandkids (Austin, Alyssa, Kylee, Jaxon, and Deblyn), she specifically enjoyed being with her family and grandkids, being at all of their school functions and extra-curricular activities, also baking in the kitchen with the grandkids. She also loved to scrapbook albums with her scrapbook girls. Vonnie also loved to travel to different places and states with Tom, collecting shot glasses. Vonnie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Hugh and Stella (Lamb) Lalicker; her maternal grandparents E.E. (Bill) and Margaret (Bashinski) Dale; her in-laws, Ezra Kelln and Vera (Kelln) Bullock and one brother-in-law, Harry Henson. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Tom of the home; daughter Ashley Megli and her husband Jase, grandchildren Austin and Alyssa, of Sweetwater, OK; daughter Amy Kelln, grandchildren Kylee Simpson and Jaxon and Deblyn Kelln, of Erick, OK; her parents, Larry and Judy Lalicker, of Shattuck, OK; one sister Lari Ann Webster and husband John, of Milton, KY; brother Alan Lalicker and brother Bryan Lalicker and his wife, Renee; sister-in-law Faye (Kelln) Henson, of Weatherford, OK; brother-in-law Steve Kelln, of Aline, OK; nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
